I'm Timothy, and I started Firelinkx as a registered business in Guyana on August 13, 2019 after taking on independent client work on the side from August 2017. By the time I committed to it fully, I had already spent most of my career building the kind of internal systems many Guyanese businesses still assume they need to leave the country to get.
I'm from Georgetown. I went to Bishops' High School and probably spent more time in the IT room than anywhere else, running the PA for assemblies, helping classmates wire up their CSEC IT SBAs, and writing my first Pascal in third form. By fifth form I was already building with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. I went on to study Computer Science at the University of Guyana, where I picked up PHP and C, built a strong foundation in object-oriented languages including C#, and started developing .NET and .NET Core applications in Visual Studio.
At the same time, I got deep into Blender for 3D modeling and animation and into the Adobe stack, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD, for graphic design. None of that ever felt like a side hobby. I've been drawing and painting, both physically and digitally, since childhood, and that is why design and engineering have always felt like parts of the same craft to me. One UG project I'm still proud of was a tsunami simulation I built in Blender with caustics, water physics, rigid bodies, and everything else, which the university later displayed on a workstation at Career Day. I got to demo it to visiting students myself and watch their excitement and interest grow as they saw what was possible.
While I was at UG, I also taught IT part-time at Bishops', and later I returned to UG as a part-time tutorial lecturer teaching non-computing students, mostly medical, how to work with real data in Python and R. Public speaking was, and still is, something I have had to work at, and those teaching roles were partly my way of putting myself in front of a room often enough to get better at it.
Professionally, three places really shaped how I think about software. At Cenedex Software Solutions I started as a developer, moved into UI/UX, and then into technical project management. After a short internship at CARICOM, I joined Hand in Hand Trust as Assistant IT Manager. From there I moved to Demerara Mutual Life Assurance Society as IT Manager. Those employed roles gave me direct responsibility for internal technology, operational continuity and the long-term consequences of software decisions.
Work completed in employed roles is separate from Firelinkx and is not presented as Firelinkx client work. Public examples of my broader professional experience deliberately omit the organisations, industries and identifying implementation details involved.
Firelinkx exists because, even after all of that, I kept seeing serious Guyanese businesses lose ground to clunky tools, shallow vendors, and template-based solutions that could not grow with them. Firelinkx builds technology for those businesses, with people who understand both engineering and the day-to-day realities of running a company here.

Who founded Firelinkx?
Firelinkx was founded in 2019 by Timothy Indarsingh. His professional background spans software engineering, UI/UX, technical project management and internal IT leadership. Work completed in other professional roles is separate from Firelinkx and is not presented as Firelinkx client work.
How long has Firelinkx been operating?
Firelinkx has been operating as a registered business in Guyana since August 13, 2019, with the founder running client work independently from August 2017. The US entity, Firelinkx Inc, was incorporated in Delaware in September 2022.
Is Firelinkx a Guyana company or a US company?
Both. Firelinkx operates as two legal entities: the Guyana entity primarily serving local and Caribbean clients, and Firelinkx Inc in the United States serving US, UK, and Canadian clients. Clients are billed by whichever entity is appropriate for their market.
How big is the Firelinkx team?
Firelinkx has an in-house team in Georgetown covering software development, content and marketing, and business administration, led by the founder. That is backed by senior development partners abroad in New York, the United Kingdom, and India. The team is kept small on purpose, so the people you speak to are the people who build the project.
Who actually does the work on my project?
The Georgetown team handles day-to-day delivery, and the founder stays involved in every engagement. On demanding builds we bring in our overseas development partners, who are senior software engineers working at large international companies, for additional depth and code review. They collaborate with Firelinkx as individuals; Firelinkx is not affiliated with or endorsed by their employers.
Does Firelinkx do social media management and content, or only development?
Both. Alongside development, Firelinkx has an in-house content and design function that runs social media management, graphic design, blog and article production, SEO, and AI-search visibility work (GEO/AEO/AIO) for clients on an ongoing basis. You do not need to have a website built by us to use it.
Why does Firelinkx avoid Wix, Squarespace, and template builders?
DIY builders impose hard limits on performance and customization, and you do not fully own the result. Businesses outgrow them and end up rebuilding on better stacks anyway. Firelinkx starts with platforms that scale: hardened WordPress for CMS sites, and modern stacks like Next.js for everything more demanding.
Do you partner with agencies in the US, UK, or Canada as a delivery partner?
Yes. Firelinkx offers nearshore engineering, UI/UX, and platform delivery to agencies that need an aligned, English-speaking, same-timezone partner. We work white-label or co-branded depending on the engagement.
